Some of computer programs need to be loaded from startup, such as antiviruses, or video adapter like adobe gamma loader, and more. Those programs usually put by the system as default to mantain computer behaviour in good state. But if You want to add your own program as a secondary utility like
adding Memory (RAM) idle Monitor or "decorative things", You may follow this tip. Using this simple and easy tips means, You can add any kind of computers programs, applications, flash, or any other executables files to run from first time You turn your computer on. OK then, follow these steps to
add programs to load automatically from startup:
- Define the location of used programs, ex: program name RAMIdle.exe, put in Used File folder in drive D, so the program location will look like this => D:\Used File\RAMIdle.exe
- Once the program location has fixed, then right click on program's name RAMIdle.exe and then choose Copy.
- Open Start up Folder in this directory: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup.
- Then right click inside the startup folder, and choose Paste Shortcut and done!! The programs shortcut location should look like this C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Shortcut to RAMIdle
Remember to choose
Paste Shorcut not
Paste, also try not to make any change to the folder where the program exist and program's name. If You do so, then You have to start over from the first step in order not to make the directory location broken. Note: This tip is working fine in
windows and w7, If your operating system allow any program to be added on startup, just try to find the startup folder and then use the same way above. Good Luck!
